Best iPhone Digital Business Cards

Forget paper cards—these digital options make networking simple and seamless.

Why I Made the Switch to Digital Business Cards

A few weeks ago, I was talking to a realtor friend who does way more networking than I do. She was the one who first recommended digital business cards, and since I tend to network more casually, I was curious to see if they were actually useful for someone like me.

So, I decided to test out a few options along with her—Uniqode, Blinq, and Popl—but found MySignature.io to be the easiest and most practical. And for me, that’s what matters most.

Honestly, though? We’ll see how often I actually use it. If I find myself reaching for it less and less, I might just stick with Apple’s built-in NameDrop feature—which is completely free and already part of the iPhone. (I’ll explain how to use it below in case that’s all you need.)

But if you want a customized digital business card that looks polished and professional, here are the best options I tried.

1. MySignature.io – The Best Overall

After trying different platforms, this is the one I stuck with. MySignature.io is simple, professional, and doesn’t come with any of the annoying pop-ups or ads that other free apps use. It offers:

✔ A clean, sleek design that makes a great first impression ✔ Easy sharing via QR code, email, or link ✔ Full customization so your brand stands out ✔ A smooth mobile experience that works seamlessly on iPhone

If you want something reliable and polished, this is my top recommendation.

2. Blinq

Blinq has a major advantage—it lets you add your digital business card to Apple Wallet, which makes sharing super easy. The setup is simple, and the integration works flawlessly.

However, if you’re using the free plan, there’s a big downside: whenever someone saves or shares your digital business card, a huge pop-up ad takes over their screen. If you’re okay with upgrading to a paid plan, this might not be an issue.

3. Popl

Popl is popular (no pun intended) for its NFC-enabled business cards—meaning you can tap your phone against someone else’s, and your contact info pops up instantly. It’s a fun and modern way to network, especially at conferences or events.

That said, I found the setup a bit clunky compared to MySignature.io, and while the NFC feature is cool, it’s not always necessary. If you’re someone who loves techy solutions, it could be worth a try, but I personally prefer the simplicity of MySignature.io.

Final Thoughts: Keep It Simple

At the end of the day, whether you need a digital business card app or just Apple’s NameDrop feature depends on how often you network and how polished you want your contact sharing to look.

Apple’s NameDrop: The Easiest Free Option

If you don’t need a fully customizable business card and just want a quick way to share your contact information, Apple already has a built-in solution: NameDrop.

With NameDrop, you can instantly share your contact info with a nearby iPhone or Apple Watch (Apple Watch Ultra, Apple Watch Series 7 and later, and Apple Watch SE 2nd generation).

Here’s how to set it up:

How to use NameDrop on iPhone:

  1. Hold the top of your iPhone close to the top of the other person’s iPhone or Apple Watch.

  2. Keep your devices near each other until NameDrop appears on both screens.

  3. Choose to share your contact card and receive theirs, or only receive theirs.

  4. If sharing, tap the Show Disclosure Triangle, select the fields you want to include, then tap Save. The same fields will be selected by default next time you use NameDrop.

  5. To cancel, just move your devices away or lock your iPhone before the transfer completes.

By default, NameDrop is turned on, but you can disable it by going to:Settings > General > AirDrop > Turn off "Bring Devices Together".
